Switch Engine - June 2023 When we drove back through Wind River Canyon, we turned back around at Shoshoni, Wyoming. As we were turning around in a large lot, a switch engine brought a car out from a local plant and began sorting it into a line of cars on the track alongside the highway. I love trains and stopped to watch for a short while. As we were sitting there, Kathy captured this image of the engine. I had never heard of the Bighorn Divide & Wyoming Railroad. I assume it is a small operation that primarily does switching and sorting for plants in the area. I was going to file this as a tourist image, but the natural composition prompted me to post it. MWM
