Taylor Swift Grants Fan's #SwiftAWish, Meets Girl Who Has Down Syndrome, Cancer
Taylor Swift has proven once again that she always has time for a fan in need.
The Dover Police Department in Delaware started a social media campaign in May for 13-year-old Victoria Marsh, who has Down syndrome and is battling bone cancer. The kind cops rallied people to share a video featuring Victoria and her love for Taylor Swift, and to tag it #SwiftAWish in hopes that the singer would see it and visit the superfan.
We love that taylorswift brought out rachelplatten to sing Fight Song on her #1989tour! Taylor does so much for her fans and Rachelâs song is so fitting for our Foundation...letâs keep fighting all, weâve got a lot of fight left in us!!

On Friday, my art teacher showed me this video about a 13 year old girl who has cancer and down syndrome. It is her dream to meet Taylor, and I want to try and help make that happen. Do you remember that video of a police officer lip synching to Shake it Off? Well his police department was given tickets to her show by her record label. When they learned about Victoria, they sent her family some tickets. She is unable to go because of her chemo treatments.
