I’m doing art in a local coffee shop I work in

'Oshun Yoruba' - 30x40" acrylic painted over giclee print on canvas - 2017-18💫original available - prints soon :) . She is a goddess of love and sweet waters from southwestern Nigeria... thanks to @glovaldez for naming her! This painting began as a live painting during a set by @gaudimusic at the @mokshafamilyartscollective in Miami 2011 during #artbaselmiamibeach ... She transformed drastically in this piece as I dug deeper into her soul to find her image... sometimes the task of 'remixing' a piece turns it into a whole new being. This painting will be on exhibit and available this weekend with @tribe13gallery at the @gemandjamfestival in Tucson. Today was just goddamn gorgeous weather. Finished up work ansnhustled the beeb out on a mini corgventure. We walked around a different 'hood, smelled all the lilacs (you KNOW they bomb.com when it's still super sweet through a mask!), and got treats at a new coffee shop. Pup cup for my main muffin and frozen strawberry lemonade for me! It was a really great afternoon.
