            She had been banished to “her” room for the night, and Hadley wasn’t sure she’d ever felt more bitter. Her stupid fucking mother had just waltzed back into their lives and their home, as if she hadn’t abandoned them when Hadley was just so little. Little enough that she hardly remembered the woman her father had introduced her too. And she’d seen this woman trying to seduce him earlier that night, and Hadley had stormed up to “her” room for an early sleep in all the rage that followed. She hated this room -- she’d rarely slept in it since she’d been four. And now it only seemed to resemble rejection at the hands of her father. She was so head over heels for him, and now Matthew was just going to take her mother back? Hadley sniffled softly when she noticed the door opening, that crack of light flooding into the room before it closed again. She looked up as Daddy crawled into bed with her, and Hadley did her best to look angry rather than upset. “What are you doing in here?”

Hadley: what's with that, daddy?

Piper: What do you even want from me?

Madison: You've been awfully scarce lately.
