oh god i’m not ready! a beach. catalina island, i think. the water’s really clear and warm. 

29. What is your favorite expletive?

i enjoy the c word but don’t really use it bc it makes a lot of people very uncomfortable. i also really like the word shit, i think there’s a wide range of emotions that it can portray. its also probably the swear i say the most. :P

4) do you smile at strangers

i’m supposed to for my job but i think it’s pretty easy to tell when i’m fake smiling. >_> other than work, i generally don’t smile at strangers or even make eye contact, honestly. 

5) how often do people (not family members) tell you they love you

gonna exclude my fiance from this bc he tells me that every day... so, once every couple of days? when i talk to ppl from hollins it becomes a reflex.

13) what is one thing you’ll never do again

ooh, this is tough... once when i was like 4 i put plastic beads up my nose and almost had to go to the hospital, so i probably won’t do that again. 

15) what is your favorite memory

and this is even harder! but i think i have to say the night that i met my fiance.

the night that karl and i met, we were at monster’s house (she and her brother were trying to set us up from the get-go, unbeknownst to me) and we were drinking, and i used to be a really sad drunk so i got tired really quickly and abandoned the party to go lie down. so they sent him after me and we just talked for hours. and i kept going outside to smoke (clove cigarettes lmao) and every time i lit one he would take a drag. i found out later that he has an esophageal condition that means he really shouldn’t smoke !!! but he said he wanted to keep talking to me so he kept doing it. anyway, at one point he and i went outside and my friends inside (who were also in on the whole thing) locked the fuCKING DOOR and trapped us outside. at this point i kind of figured out what was going on. so we started kissing. it was nice. so we came back inside and i dont remember a whole lot after that until everyone started going to bed. so we were lying on the same couch and we started making out. and i stopped him - i could tell he wanted to have sex, so i told him (the truth) that i was a virgin. and immediately, no hesitation, he stopped and said “oh, well lets just go to sleep then” and it was really nice bc i REALLY didn’t want to lose my virginity on that couch. so we went to sleep. we woke up the next morning bc he had to leave (for work maybe? don’t remember) and we just sat together and made awkward small talk and then exchanged phone numbers. and this sounds awful but i remember being so fucking excited that he was sober and still wanted to talk to me, still seemed just as interested in me, bc that had not been the norm for me - i’d had a couple “let’s pretend that didn’t happen” nights and it absolutely wrecked my self esteem. 

anyway. he left, i went back to sleep. later that week, we went on a date and i asked if “we could like be dating now” (p sure those were my exact words) and... well, it’s been five years and i wouldn’t change a thing.

26. This is a really hard one. I really enjoyed being in Working, as like my favorite show that I just happened to be a part of. My favorite show that I’ve worked because of the experience of working it would be As You Like It or Almost, Maine.

28. I love musicals where the songs are ones that you just need to belt and where the plot is one that keeps you with your hairs standing up straight and unable to sit still because you’re so invested.
