Sweetpea is very sick. Her chronic kidney disease took an abrupt turn for the worse and, while her values are better than they were yesterday, they still aren't great. When I take her home it will likely be for hospice care.
Sigh. I knew, when I adopted a senior cat with multiple health problems, that our time together wouldn't be as long as it was with Lemmie. But did it have to be so soon?
