Tonight I went to get energy drinks. When I went to check out the cashier looked at my three energy drinks and packs of gum. He asked if I was in college, I answered accordingly. He asked if they were all for me and I scoffed playfully and said "I wish." He finished checking my items out and when I grabbed my bags he looked at me and said, "I hope you have a good night and get some sleep". I don't know why but I was very shaken by this. Maybe because a complete stranger saw how drained I was. Or maybe because I hadn't got a good night's rest in a long time. Or just maybe he seemed to show an ounce of worry.
