the words were spoken by lee, fresh out of the ocean and holding onto her surfboard with one arm. she probably needed to stop introducing herself to people while in her bathing suit, but hey, she couldn’t help when she met people that might be important.
“sorry if i’m being rude, it’s just, ah, people who aren’t from here usually frequent the main beaches in honolulu. i didn’t know the public was even aware of this one.”
the only reason she knew about it was because it was basically her mother’s backyard.
