स्वर्वेद

काल स्वभाव विनाश कर, दीजै शिष्य स्वभाव ।

मन वच काया कर्मणा, गुरु शन नाहिं दुराव ।।४/१२/११।।

Svarveda

Kāla svabhāva vināśa kara, dījai śiṣya svabhāva ।

Mana vaca kāyā karmaṇā, Guru śana nāhiṃ durāva ।।4/12/11।।

ūrdhva bhūmi ko caḍha़i sako, anya na koya upāya।।1/4/30।।

Mana bām̐dhe so dhāraṇā, śabdākāra so dhyāna ।

Yog has two levels—spiritual and physical. Various types of asanas, pranayamas, mudras, bandhas, etc. are activities performed in physical yoga; when these are learnt under the supervision of a worthy guru and practiced regularly, physical health benefits are received.

योग के दो स्तर हैं - आत्मिक एवं शारीरिक । शारीरिक योग के अन्दर विभिन्न प्रकार के आसन, प्राणायाम, मुद्रा, बन्ध आदि क्रियाएँ हैं, जिनको सुयोग्य गुरु की देख-रेख में सीख कर नियमित अभ्यास करते रहने से शारीरिक स्वास्थ्य लाभ होता है।
