Something about cats...
I've recently kicked off a project that will consist of a female detective protagonist and her home. The setting and theme is basically a mish-mash of noir concepts, a sci-fi setting, and contemporary design languages. The intent is to create as much 2d concept work as I can, and then bring the whole thing to life in Unreal Engine 4 for the renders. Ideally, I'll even rig and animate the character to walk around the scene, but we'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

In an age when the world seems as if it’s almost literally at our fingertips through our cell phones, televisions, computers, and anything can be brought to you with the click of a button, it’s easy to lose site of just how amazing someone setting foot on the moon really is simply in concept alone. I've been trying to get a focus on painting lately vs my usual line art and cell shading. This was something I did at the beginning of the year.
