Hiya! In regards to your post in the TLR tag about the transphobic man, I hope you're not coming to the conclusion that the game makers themselves are transphobic. It's just the NPC's own view, and is not reflective of the creator themselves. I just thought to give you a different way of looking at it so that you won't feel too let down by the game as a whole. Besides, TLR has a blatant homosexual male bartender in the game as well. It wouldn't make sense to put him in if they were against LGBT.
It clearly is reflective of the creators otherwise he wouldn't be in the game. If the creators didn't want people to think they're transphobic then maybe they shouldn't have put a character in the game who does the whole trans panic crap.
With regards to the bartender - it's never actually stated he's gay (at least for as much of the game as I've played so far), he's just somewhat of a stereotype and his flirtatiousness is played for laughs so he's not exactly great representation either. And even if he were a fully rounded and well developed gay character, that in no way diminishes any transphobia in the game.
Also I did state in my original post that I've actually been enjoying the game. It's precisely because I enjoy the game that I'm critiquing it - because I want to be able to play good games like The Last Remnant but do so without having to endure weird transphobic diatribes that seemingly come out of nowhere.
