Ingredients: 2 cups sushi rice, cooked. 4 sheets nori seaweed. 1 avocado, thinly sliced. 1 cucumber, julienned. 1 carrot, julienned. 4 ounces smoked salmon, thinly sliced. Soy sauce, for dipping. Pickled ginger, for serving. Wasabi, for serving. Sesame seeds, for garnish. Sushi-grade fish optional.
Instructions: Lay a sheet of plastic wrap on a flat surface. Place a nori sheet on top of the plastic wrap. Spread a layer of sushi rice evenly over the nori sheet. Arrange avocado slices, cucumber, carrot, and smoked salmon over the rice. Carefully roll the nori sheet into a tight cylinder. Remove the plastic wrap and place the sushi roll on a serving plate. Repeat the process with the remaining nori sheets and ingredients. Arrange the sushi rolls in a circle to form a donut shape. Garnish with sesame seeds and sushi-grade fish if using.
