We are sitting by a fire made up of last years Yule logs, sipping on mulled cider with booze soaked cranberries, eating ginger cakes dripping with honey. We read “The Shortest Day” by Susan Cooper to Luna while she showcased her drumming skills. We lit candles for friends and family, made our offerings, and burned the things we wished to leave behind in 2022 as well as those we wish to welcome in 2023.
