You're running. Sliding around the corners of the hallways when you reach them, giving you a good few seconds to look behind you. And they're close. So god damn close. You knew you shouldn't of checked that door. All you can remember is opening it after hearing the knocks. God dammit, Jade. You can't just be opening doors nowadays. The amount of zombies you were facing. You don't stand a chance, but you have to survive, for your research.

Oh shit. Your research! Stopping to a halt, at a hallway. Two options. Left or right. Come on, Harley! Get your head together. Right. You begin running down the corridor, towards the large barricaded door, shoving your way through it, to the playground. To your relief, it wasn't covered in zombies. Only the odd few which you're able to run past without causing much notice. You can hear the mass behind you, though. Pushing themselves against the door you just ran through. 

Before you know it, you're at the science building, running in and shutting the large, metal door. You scramble up the stairs to your study room, where your studies and research are. 

You sit in the room. Back against the door. Breath in. Out. In. Out. That was the closest they've gotten. Questions fill your mind. How did they get through the gate? How were there so many? You could've died. And you probably will. You stand, holding your side from the aching stitch which greets you. Your legs ache. You stumble over to your desk, running your hand over the papers covering it. All this. It'll go to waste if you die now. You fall to the floor. You hear Bec howling. Oh god how it hurts your head. Tears forming in your eyes, for hope of his safety. Please don't let your best friend die. 

You rummage through your bag, the one you somehow managed to grab in the mist of the terror. You panic, before sighing of relief and tugging it out. Your phone. You hold it in your hand and begin typing to someone. Anyone. You need help.
