    “The whole time.” The ancient god mused as his distinct glowing eyes opened in the vast darkness of the alleyway behind the Garlean soldier. Stepping out of the shadows, did the Primal come closer, fanged smile and all as he appeared before the mortal.

It wasn't quite a smirk that tugged on Rhen's features, but his eyes had a mischievous brightness to them. "You did mention not minding it..." He agreed, his gaze still resting on the other who pointedly kept his attention on his paperwork. However, the flushed features did not escape the Viera's attention.

Sephiroth curled around the newcomer, circling him tightly and inspecting every inch of their form. He almost looked human, though the third eye perched on his forehead and the monstrous height of him– even taller than Sephiroth himself– betrayed the fact that he most certainly was not.

It was uncomfortable, to have to look up to meet someone’s gaze. He could not recall interacting with any who were able to look him in the eye without some tilt upwards of the head, so to have to be the one to do so now was most peculiar to him.

He knew not where he’d ended up. But this world was unfamiliar to him, and this being, whatever species they belonged to, seemed to be a native to the strange new world.

She had been stood in the blizzard for what seemed like hours, at least to the Ishgardian watch that had seen her stop.

Instead of running for shelter like one was wont to do when a blizzard from nowhere had sprung up, the biting winds sending powder spraying in the air.

Why did this feel familiar? Wonderful even?!

A brief scent of steel ruptured her thought but she turned to find the source all the same, the coat she was wearing already camouflaged by violent onslaught of snow, lashes dripping with unwanted flakes that fell into her gloved palms when she blinked.
