**Please read before you "like" the picture as I am in no way promoting sephora.** Anyone and everyone that knows me eventually figures out that I'm a witch. I don't hide it, it's not something I'm ashamed of. It's actually something I am very proud of. My faith, my beliefs, my practices are all a part of the person I am. Some of my closest friends also identify as witch. Here is the beautiful thing about being a witch, there is not set practice, we can all do our own thing and still call ourselves witch. If you know me, you know that I am open minded when it comes to the faiths and beliefs of others. All I ask is that you don't tell me my faith/beliefs are wrong, you don't try to convert me, and you don't make fun of my beliefs. So this is where this post comes in.....I'm not ok with a company trying to use my faith and beliefs as a platform to profit off of. And before people start in saying "what's the big deal? You love Halloween." This has nothing to do with Halloween. And I ask, how would you feel if they put out a kit with a set of rosary beads and a crucifix as a "catholic starter kit" or a kit with a Star of David titled "the new jew kit"? Would you be offended? Would you be upset that your faith was being used as a marketing gimmick? If you said no then I believe you're either lying or you do not have strong feelings regarding your faith and beliefs. If this marketing gimmick bothers you on any level, support your local witches.
