What does it say about someone who thinks attending rock shows is something one should grow out of doing? Liking certain styles of music, wanting to support bands through not only buying merch, but attending concerts is inappropriate for people over a certain age? If passion for music is only a phase, something every intelligent and right thinking adult grows out of, how can it have any value at all?Β

Sometimes I feel really bad when I don't really listen to the supporting bands. Because I just stand there and think, "Wow.. someone would kill to be in my place right now, and I hardly care about these bands."
I mean, of course I cheer for them and show them support, but I know there would be some people who could sing along and it would really mean the world to them. I don't know. It just makes me feel really selfish.
