#OneNETnewsInvestigates: An Animated Studio in the Philippines on a Superstix Ad is Possibly Related to Gravity Falls? [EXCLUSIVE]
MARILAO, BULACAN -- If you're an actual fan of Gravity Falls, this commercial has come for a serious attention from this animated production company in the Philippines. Tres Puntos Production Studios is animating this latest childhood advertisement on a wafer sticks called "Superstix", which is publicly televised nationwide for a 15-second paid spot last fall 2020.
Based from this Superstix ad, an unnamed P*r*te girl with a companioned friend sets sail by seeking a snacky wafer sticks treasure. She was docked off-shore and gets delivered safely from her hometown, as her companion paddles forward in a wafer wood. It was safely edible to eat without anything worried at all. At around 17 minutes later after that... A great white shark was eaten unexpectedly and loses out for a manual paddling as unfortunate.
Multirich Foods Corporation (MFC), an affiliated product subsidiary arm of Republic Biscuit Corporation (RBC); was pitching in between a few seconds of Live-Action and the other one remains for a whole animation in one single commercial of Superstix. The animated production begins first after a snack client to Bread & Butter Creative Productions. While the finalization ends with Tres Puntos Production Studios. Jojo V. Medalla is a Colorist & Offline Editor and Patrick Soriano is officially reponsible for animating and illustrating a commercial, even for a simple role of his Online Artist. It feels like you're watching Gravity Falls as a special broadcast episode event from the Disney XD brand in America alone.
The main factory of Republic Biscuit Corporation (RBC) is originally located from Novaliches City in Quezon and a factory plant of Multirich Foods Corporation (MFC) is also located in Marilao City of Bulacan. We try to contact between the legal team of Disney Television Animation via E-Mail and Alex Hirsch, a former creator himself of Gravity Falls from our personal response of OneNETnews but... both of them are in no-go as unfortunate.
When the officials of a legal team of Disney Television Animation, this may be violated under a Republic Act #8293 or the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines of 1997: Section 184-J. If this Philippine animation company was perfectly matched as a mass suspect (in related possibly to Gravity Falls), it is unfortunately resulted as final for a jail sentence to 1-6 years in prison, known as the PrisiΓ³n Correccional. While in America finally, it's also applies for a Title 17 of U.S. Copyright Code #501.
Anyways, it's best to go directly support the artists, storyboarders, animators and a creator themselves; in behalf from the animation team of Disney Television Animation. For this Superstix commercial in the Philippines, it won't be long for this limited childhood advertisement if it's either to be revised or taking them down when this televised advertisement ends soon. Archiving the commercial for personal use is A-OK but, it requires a technical permission to pitch in to Alex Hirsch first.
No respect is safe, for this similar or plagiarized animated commercial. Also, we are not endorsed or sponsoring our investigative news report from this ad. Go watch the complete series of Gravity Falls if you're new here from the beginning until today. Superstix is available nationwide, in your Philippine groceries near you.
