Product Info: Super Sprout is an Australian brand which carries Australian and USDA certified organic products. Their products are all made in Australia and they carry 10 types of organic vegetables and fruits, conveniently ground into powder form. Their products are targeted at people of all ages! 

Why I Like This Product:

1. Organic: I admit that I have a high regard for ”Australia” and “organic”. If you follow my blog, you’d know that Baby Dozer is allergic to cow’s milk. However, I have started introducing fresh cow’s milk into his diet for a few months now. 

I started off with Farmhouse, which is an Australian brand. Once, however, Farmhouse was out of stock at the grocer’s so I purchased Goodday, a Malaysian brand instead. Now, I really don’t mean to be biased but when the proof is before your eyes, you just have to believe it. 

Here’s what happened: The moment Baby Dozer took locally produced cow’s milk, his rashes APPEARED AGAIN!!! I quickly switched him back to Farmhouse and poof, the rashes subsided. 

A couple of weeks later, we decided to try again with Goodday milk. The same thing happened! I cannot help but wonder if there are some undisclosed additives or chemicals in Goodday’s milk that triggered his rashes. 

After this little experiment, you can understand why I have a high regard for Australian-made products. 

2. Convenience: When I went to Bali, we decided against cooking in the end as it would have been too troublesome. First you’d have to buy the vegetables, then prepare them before cooking them. There would also be the issue of storage in the hotel especially with the usual tiny refrigerator in the hotel rooms which really is meant for you to chill drinks or dry goods. 

Now, if I had known of Super Sprout back then, cooking would have been more feasible because I would only have needed to bring Baby Dozer’s baby rice grains! With the vegetables in powder form, I could have easily added them to his porridge and supplemented with other baby snacks or fruits. 

3. Nutrition and Product Variety: Besides beetroot, the powders available by Super Sprout include apple, strawberry, carrot, broccoli sprout and blueberry, thus allowing me to provide some variety to Baby Dozer even while away on a trip without compromising his nutritional needs! According to the Super Sprout website: 

4. Great for Fussy Eaters: I’m thankful that Baby Dozer is not a fussy eater. He eats almost everything from leafy vegetables to bittergourd. However, I can imagine that if I had a fussy eater, I might need to hide the veggies in his meals with the aid of Super Sprout powders. In fact, that was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw this product on Happikiddo’s shelves. 

I sound almost like Super Sprout’s spokesperson but really, I’m just a normal mum who has found what I think is a great product and would like to share it with you all. I have a bottle of the beetroot powder at home now and occasionally add it to Baby Dozer’s porridge just for that nutritional boost. 

What is RICE Tableware: The Super Sprout Beetroot Powder seen here was shot with the melamine RICE tableware. RICE is a Danish home wares and accessories company. They are known for their colourful, funky yet practical melamine, handmade baskets and storage, and hand glazed tableware.

What I Like About RICE: Pay a visit to the Hapikiddo outlet at Quill City Mall along Jalan Sultan Ismail and I’m sure that just like me, the collection of RICE tableware on display will take your breath away. The designs are just so colourful and attractive. They have various designs in solid colours and patterns!

I also like that they are melamine, which means that they don’t break easily, making them really good for babies! The RICE brand is BPA-free and certified food-safe. Some precautions to take though are NOT to put melamine ware in the microwave and to discard once there are cracks.
