I just had this idea for a Holiday story with Kara, Lena, Sam and Ruby that no one wants. They all help Ruby with a school project and become closer like a family along the way. Why couldn’t I have had a great idea like this one for Secret Santa? My ideas for those stories don’t feel as exciting as this one I just thought up in the shower in like five minutes. This is the worst time to feel too critical of my writing when I have two mandatory stories to write. I still feel like everything I have written is garbage as well as anything I’ve been working on. I feel like I don’t have anyone to support me and tell me what I’m doing is good enough or tell me I should really start over. I dunno.
