Serious moment for just a second. At the last PWX show I had a guy who was hitting on me which was fine but when I made it clear I wasn't interested I walked away. The guy followed me around the room back and forth, all around for over an hour and would get into my personal space and insert himself into conversations I was having with other people. He also had my mom and her fiance on edge as well.
Last night I saw him again and he was looking for me and any time he caught sight of me, he'd come toward me.
This wasn't a guy who just wanted to say hi or get a number. This was a guy who even after I walked away, followed me and kept talking to me as well as making himself as part of every conversation I'd try to have with anyone. Tonight other people acknowledged him as being creepy and kept an eye out for me and Cupcake Lady J.
Thank you Aerial, Zane Riley, Caleb Konley, Moose, Elijah Evans IV, and Adam Page who either allowed us to stand at their tables for quite a while, kept an eye on us, offered to tell the guy to back off and/or looked around for the guy.
This is one of the many reason I love wrestling. It's a family. I've been privileged enough to be a part of the wrestling family since I was a kid and use to go to SCW shows. I was watched out for then (whenever creepy old men would sit next to me, I'd find myself moved by a wrestler or two or if my mom was working the door or taking photographs, I'd have a wrestler sitting next to me watching me, ect) and I'm watched out for now.
It's nice to know that no matter what there's guys who will have your back and watch out for you. Thank you guys so much. ~ Cupcake Lady B <3
