Rui and Futaba friendship would be the cutest thing. Kaoruko complaining about Tamao coming back into her life and unconsciously digging up stuff she wanted to run away from.. and then Rui just quickly defending her while Futaba also agrees that Kaoruko's just being self-centered again. Both Rui and Tamao both suffer from the lack of self confidence so they can really benefit from being friends with futakao. STILL LOOKING FOR THAT SEISHO/RINMEIKAN EVENT.TAPS MY WATCH @ ATEAM
I HIGHKEY AGREE Rui and Futaba friendship is amazing and I have a mighty need for it now. Also yes to everything you just said.
I want to also add, picture Kaoruko being not like uncomfortable but like a bit weird(??) around Rui because Rui being shy is literally so similar and familiar to Kaoruko being shy and it’s kinda one of those, we’re similar and I don’t like it so I’m lowkey taking out our similar problems on you things? I can’t word it rn but it’s one of those dynamics.
So like imagine Kaoruko trying her best to like boost Rui’s confidence but in her own subtle way, it’s not the best approach but sometimes it gets result mostly because Futaba, her wife is able to help her. Also she’s helping Rui so that she can fluster her old friend and so that she can’t get second hand embarrassment watching Rui be a gay mess.
Also Kaoruko trying to boost Tamao’s confidence and dragging her around to do things she would never do before. Kaoruko making Tamao be honest with herself and to be bit more selfish and put herself first.
