Dear fellow Supercorp fans If Lena/James happens, and they do play into some of the same misogynist tropes the show has in the past, can we PLEASE focus our criticism on the WRITING, and not hate on James, someone who has been a great character who the Season 2 & 3 writing keeps mangling in an effort to create extra conflict after they handwaved away his and Kara’s entire Season 1 emotional arc for nakedly racist reasons of making way for a white dude? And if they are able to pull it off WITHOUT the misogynistic tropes, then as far as I’m concerned - OT3!

I'm watching Supergirl for the first time, and I just started Season 2 and she breaks up with James immediately for no actual reason. There was a full 20 hours of build up to their relationship, and suddenly Kara decides that she doesn't want to be with the person who she's been in love with since the beginning?? As a viewer I feel cheated.
