Love was never meant to be so simple. It's hard to truly gain, give, and forever hard to understand.

I may not know EVERYTHING about you, and my brain may panic at the mere idea, even if it's impossible to know all of you in your complex entirety,,

But, what I do know is:

I forgive you. You're beautiful. You never meant to hurt me, and you've always loved me. I don't care what other people think about the fact I still chose to be with you despite the fact we hurt one another when we were younger.

Ultimately, you make me feel human, and safe and loved like I have a place in the world; and I know you feel the same.

Nobody else has ever made me feel like that. I don't think anybody else has made you feel like that, either.
