Super Bonk (1994) for Super Famicom
Known in Japan as Super Genjin
Instead of celebrating phony corporate nonsense, I'll instead take this day to celebrate another of my favorite SNES games: Super Bonk! One of the most bizarre games ever made. http://retrorevelations.blogspot.com/2022/02/my-top-favorite-snes-games.html
Daily thing #2071
(The link for the art ref post I’ve been using keeps breaking so I think I’m just gonna have to post the refs here:)

Super Bonk - Twilight Space
I beat Super Bonk! I loved this game as a kid but I never managed to beat it until now. Also thank goodness for the SNES Classic Edition’s rewind feature because I accidentally soft-locked myself during the final boss, I killed the boss just as he was exiting the side of the screen and he fell through the floor.
I can’t recommend this game enough to fans of platformers, Bonk is a highly underrated series. And Super Bonk in particular has a real bangin’ soundtrack. ( The end Credits remind me of the japanese DBZ theme )
Super Bonk 2 (1995) for Super Famicom
Known in Japan as Super Genjin 2
