my head cannons for sunoo as a boyfriend <3
being an idol sunoo definitely travels a lot, and when he can't take you with him he shares his experiences through facetime. he'll call you when he's not busy, before performances, and after concerts
the calls are filled with funny stories about how your days went, and a lot of 'i miss you's', but facetime practically feels like sunoo is really right next to you when you close your eyes, phone on your pillow as you listen to him ramble or vent.
2. sharing his food with you
we all know sunoo is definitely a foodie and he's glad to have a significant other who shares that sentiment. he always pouts or acts like he's upset when you ask for a bite, but deep down he knows the food always tastes better when he's sharing with you.he'll purposely give you the better bite when sharing too.
he likes making you happy and knowing you like to try new foods, he'll always make time to experiment with you.
sunoo loves watching you get dressed up for dates. whether through the phone or in person, he's helping with ideas, supporting concepts, and reassuring your decisions.
he's the type to tell you how amazing you look and compliment your appearance a million times before you can even leave your house. not to mention if you wear something even slightly revealing, sunoo suddenly enjoys pda or open affection when no one's looking.
sunoo doesn't favor hugs when it comes to others and he's usually not the type to initiate, but if you let it be known that you're the opposite, he's making the effort to give you what you want.
kisses are definitely a favorite way of his to show affection, but he loves cuddling as well. no words or permission needed, if he finds you on the couch, in bed, or anywhere else he can cuddle up with you, he's wrapping his arms around your waist and resting his chin on your shoulder, making sure to give you a couple kisses behind your ear in the process.
sunoo isn't the best cook, but he's all about equality. so as long as he doesn't cook, you never touch the dishes. and that's how you know he loves you bc he hates washing dishes.
it doesn't matter what meal it is, sunoo gladly offers to wash the dishes, and afterwards you guys eat ice cream together as a reward. (mint choco ofc)
6. honesty and communications
sunoo can definitely get annoyed or frustrated easily so he tries to be good with communication. you can always tell when he's upset with you regardless, but he likes to talk things out before they escalate. that is if he's not being petty and avoiding you.
he also prompts you to do the same because he wants a equal and open relationship. hiding things leads to broken trust, and sunoo wants to make sure you both trust each other before anything or anyone else.
being an idol keeps him busy but sunoo hates breaking promises. if work interrupts any plans made or engagements that he promised to participate in, he's dying to make it up to you.
no matter how understanding you are, he knows you get upset too and he hates leaving you hanging. he'll make it up to you everytime though whether it's through a fancy dinner, a nice gift, a fun trip, or other ways as well. ;)
sunoo knows what it's like to have self doubt and he hates when you're selling yourself short. he'll call you everyday with well wishes for your days, telling you how great you are and how much he loves you.
and if your days don't go as planned, he's comforting you with sweet words, and encouraging pep talks. he never wants to see you sad, so he puts a lot of effort into making sure you never feel discouraged.
sunoo loves kissing you. on the cheek, the forehead, your hands, it doesn't matter. he just loves kissing you. mostly in private though.
if he hasn't seen you in awhile he's giving you a bunch of kisses for every hour he didn't get to see you, and especially after a tour he's showering you in love and affection to make sure you know how much he missed and loves you.
