my laptop is glitching, so this is going here @mistressofamberandink
'James admitted that he buIIied Severus for fun. And if James had bullied bI00dsupremacists... Why didnt he buIIied people like Barty? Evan? Regulus? Bruce? Edmund? Wilhelm? Etc. And "defending his friends"? From who? A little scared lonely boy? The Marauders were the most popular people in Hogwarts at this time.'
ill go in order!
1- quote and context? i seem to remember that he enjoyed defending his friends from people who were harassing them (as anyone would) but im open to corrections if you have a source!
2- he might have defended his friends from other bloodsupremacists (because thank god you admit that snape was a bloodsupremacist!), yea! problem is, none of the other people you listed there held a grudge for over a decade, to the point that they were so obsessed with lily that they didnt even care if her husband died and how she might grieve that, they just wanted her for themselves, not really thinking of her at all, and then took out their grudge and obsession with lily on literal children, systematically using their position of power as a teacher to abuse and bully children! so we dont know if james defended people from other blood supremacists!
3- from a literal supporter of genetic superiority, genocide, very obvious classist and racist undertones, with ideologies that consistently align with nazism, and who was very much abusing theri friends, trying to out remus as a werewolf, calling muggleborns slurs, and creating extremely deadly, dangerous spells purely because he was annoyed that because james didnt call lily a slur, she became friends with him, and stopped being friends with snape! because sectumsempra, or more likely an early prototype of it, as the event took place in fifth year (the only one we know of), and the final form was written in snapes sixth year textbook, was described to be used against james in snapes 'worst memory'- therefore, if he was so comfortable using a spell that means 'kill forever' in fifth year, imagine how much worse it will have gotten in later years, and what he may have been comfortable doing to people before that?
4- yes they were! because they consistently defended people from racially and ability aggravated abuse, and were also funny ! snape, was a death eater!
and yes, i have read the books! many, many times! so please, maybe you need to reread them with your eyes open and an ounce of media literacy? i am open if you have actually contradicting sources, i have never been able to understand why people like snape
