"Respectful."  Myranda  repeated  with  a  nod,  spinning  the  iron  ring  around  her  finger  absently.  Lounged  in  the  armchair,  head  resting  in  a  nook,  unbound  hair  circling  her  like  a  cloak,  she  finds  herself  growing  lost  in  the  concept  of  respect.  A  given  thing,  and  something  earned,  and  so,  so  fragile.  And,  yet  with  every  step  she  takes  towards  her  own  happiness,  she  wonders  if  it  fractures  that  fragile  thing  shared  with  her  family.  "We  have  been  blessed,  certainly,  with  our  parents  and  brother.  And  you."  There  was  a  lot  she  would  risk  in  this  world,  but  her  family?  That  scared  her.  "I  love  you,  my  gift."  Blue  eyes  focus  then,  settling  on  sister  as  though  a  lighthouse  in  a  storm.  A  truth  that  would  carry  through,  regardless  of  the  haze  that  sat  over  her  mind,  an  anchor,  a  guidestone.
