Author’s Note: So I got this idea from listening to “I’m Fine” by Vromance. Which is a hella good song btw. it’s a reallly~ short drabble thingy. (Tell me what you think)

   “I’m fine,” Sungjoo repeats, digging his fingers into the soft flesh of his palm.

   You had first noticed this quirky habit of his on your first date. He would press down his fingers repeatedly as if he were squishing a stress ball. So when you asked him if there was anything in his hand, he laughed, replying no and explained that it was just something he did ever since he could remember.

   “I do it when I’m anxious or nervous” he had said.

   “Do I make you nervous?” you replied teasingly.

   “Yeah, kinda....” Sungjoo’s eyes widen as he scrambled to take back what he said,”I mean no!...I...didn’t mean to say that out loud” mumbling as his ears turned bright red.

   You hadn’t seen his nervous habit since then. So to see him doing it again unconsciously broke your heart and then you knew. That he was anything but fine. Without thinking you placed your hand on his, stopping his musings.

   The older boy jumped at the contact. “Don’t apologize,” Sungjoo spoke softly, any louder and he knew his voice would betray all his efforts in masking his emotions.

   He couldn’t break down. Not here, his world felt like it was collapsing around him. Sungjoo glanced up at you, his eyes were like a storm. He knew, he knew you could tell.

<Blindfold>

On Friday 25th March 2016 I was blindfolded on my way to the theatre in Den Bosch. It started from the train that departed Eindhoven, then I was completely blind, Boris guided me all the way and Jacque filmed us. 

The interesting points earned from the experience :

1. I was imagining sceneries that might be in front of me. I didn’t have much clue than the sounds and some descriptions by Jacque and Boris about what was around us when we were walking in the streets or when we were eating at the restaurant.

2. It was amazing when i watched the footages, I was(with blindfold) explaining the situation in a completely different way than the real reality. And the most important thing is that I was really believing in my imaginations as if they were real. I believed we were walking on a huge bridge that crosses the vast sea with a beautiful sunset when the reality was that we were crossing quite a small bridge on a small canal when it was almost completely dark.

3. It was so hard to walk even with Boris’s guidance. I was scared of the escalator so I could not take the escalator. I had to take the stairs and little things like hand guiding poles were so helpful.

4. It was boring at some point because i could not see anything. I could not enjoy the beautiful city with sight. But i know that I was really enjoying my imaginations from time to time.
