Just finished this lovely game! Carto was so fun and I’m so glad a friend brought it up as something I might enjoy (I did so much that I beat him to the end as a matter of fact :p)
This is such a cute little puzzle game. The puzzles do a great job of teaching you the tricks to use to solve future puzzles while also never feeling stale and throwing in just some fun and silly things. I figured everything out on my own even if it took me a while, which is unusual as I’m prone to getting frustrated and looking up hints if I can’t figure out what mechanic I’m supposed to be using.
All in all a super fun game that I would recommend to anyone who likes a feel good, warm game and puzzles!

Sunhead Games and Humble Games’ Carto mixes adventure with a world-shifting puzzle mechanic. Players will rearrange pieces of the map to change the world and discover new lands. Carto will meet new friends, many of whom will need some help from a friendly, and adorable, cartographer.
Carto releases in Fall 2020.
Carto is a casual adventure game developed by Sunhead Games and published by Humble Games. At its core is an unusual puzzle mechanic that lets you shift parts of the world around. Players will need to use this power to explore every mysterious corner of the world, help out quirky characters, and get Carto back home. Carto will encounter various hand-drawn biomes as she traverses the world around her, all the while rearranging it to help her get where she wants to go. Carto is set to release sometime later this year. In the meantime, you can add it to your wish list on Steam or the Humble Store.
