Looks like Sundra...

has an eye 👁 on Barley (pun intended).

Just thinking about the potential relationship between Barley and Sundra for a brief moment in the film. Because it's funny that Sundra continued playing the role of helping a fellow warrior even when the guy was a young adult requesting the Manticore. You can argue that she was just doing her job but she could have also chosen to not go along with the charade. Maybe during her entire time working at the cliché Manticore's Tavern she was used to acting pretend and that fantasy is only for children. But to see a grown man-elf being sincerely serious about his request might have intrigued Sundra on what's his motive is. It's no way telling for sure but I like to think that they are roughly the same age and she is just working there part-time to pay off her student loans. So, maybe Sundra showed an attraction to Barley because his enthusiasm was so contagious.

Furthermore, I like to imagine that if Ian and Barley were not on a quest and they were just there to, I don't know stay for pizza, Sundra might have continued giving hints of flirting to Barley---but she will not make the move of asking him out until HE made the move first.

Barley might at first be oblivious to her feelings because he does see himself as a that "kid" who still believes in magic and quests and stuff. And perhaps Ian would inform his brother that their server Sundra awfully likes to talk to his older brother. Then Barley noticed the pattern and maybe then he would make the move of asking her out (probably nervously but Sundra might consider it).
