Long time no update. And I have a big update! I've been back in school at Arizona State University online through Starbucks' SCAP program, meaning they're covering my tuition and fees completely. I've taken two classes so far and have gotten an A+ in both. Sorry, just had to brag because I've been working so hard.
Anyway, I'm going to be doing a study abroad program for 22 days this summer in London! See the link below to check it out, it's called Plague Pits and Body Snatchers: History of Health and Disease in a Global City and it sounds so exciting.

So Starbucks is covering the tuition for the two classes I'll be taking (Global History of Health and Death and Dying in a Cross-Cultural Perspective), and I've already gotten a $2000 scholarship. I'm hoping to get another $2000, but won't know about that for another 3-4 weeks.
I'm super excited about this, but I'm kind of nervous. Like, am I crazy? My brother and SIL have agreed to help me out by caring for dad and my kitties, but part of me feels guilty in a way. I know I need to do things for myself, and live my life, but I don't know. These feelings are a weird combination of guilt and anxiety trying to hold me back, but I'm doing my best to look at the positive and embrace this once in a lifetime opportunity.
Will any of you guys be in or near London between May 28 and June 19? I'd love to get together! :)
