#sun bleaching

I desperately need to know what’s going on here. Maybe it’s edited??

that is REALLY bright, but i went through like 8 different reverse image searches and couldn't find something to indicate this was totally faked. i found a few that are like slightly less saturated but it's not a massive change:

i will say sun bleaching can definitely get very bright orange:

if i had to guess, that's a real sun bleached cat that someone probably bumped up the saturation filter on

Make it silver tabby, and we have Rosetail!

(I know genetically speaking, Redtail can't be a tortoiseshell, but the cat is very book accurate!)

I wanted to say it's biblically accurate Redtail, but the eyes are green, lol.

Also, I never saw a cat with a fully red tail like that, I once saw a tortoiseshell with half of its tail ginger and one tortoiseshell smoke with ginger tail tip. Have you ever seen a tortoiseshell with a full ginger tail?? Without white, just brindled tortoiseshell that managed to have a red tail.
