#summaryofart2020

Next year will be the 10th year I’ve posted one of these on Dec 31st and thats about the only consistent thing in my life. 

This year was a bit of a weird one prooobably not only for me. But I think I got out of my rly bad art funk of last year a bit better in the 2nd half of this one! I was supposed to go comic con hopping in Europe again but alas. I did however manage to get my first ever animation studio job this month?! So who knows what 2021 will bring! 

I for one despite all of 2020 feel a lot more positive then I’ve have felt in the previous few years about the next!

I may have cheated a little in some months but shhh, tell no one. Rest assured, I did art every month, March included, but well, I'm part of the NDA hell world now 😅

It was the busiest year I've ever had professionally, and it was also incredibly exhausting considering Everything (not very conductive for creative output lemme tell ya), but every opportunity was a learning experience in one way or another, which I'm grateful for. Baby steps!

Not the worst year in terms of my art output, I feel like throughout this year I wasn’t lazy or anything, everything I made I can take pride in its quality, but I didn’t challenge myself that much. But I started this year hella burnt out and it only got worse with everything going on, so knowing my work was good if not mind blowing is a plus

bleps. nothing to say here about improvement bc if i did its kinda subtle, i only ever draw the same things so ofc it is, whatever blabla, WHAT im ACTUALLY proud of this year is that i actually HAVE enough for an art summary this year halle fucking lujah people we did it

Ok, so it seem this year was wholly Kabby, and I don’t even feel bad about it, also I love a lot of works I’ve done, and this makes me feel so good.
