Breaking into apartments was far too easy. All one needed was a lock picking kit, which strangely enough, was one of the few things Jungkook had bought in his years of living. But maybe buying it with a stolen credit card disregarded whatever sincerity had been behind the act. It was times like these, where he found himself on his knees outside and jiggling a tension wrench inside a doorknob, with neighbors walking by, as if they had seen nothing, when the teenage was grateful to not have a place of residence. He’d rather give up the comfort of a bed, than have to worry about people trying to steal his things. Because no one ever stole from a homeless person. Those without places to live, they looked out for one another. But in a neighborhood, it was every man for himself. It was rather funny that a thief could have more honor than a normal, law-abiding person.
Even if he was ever dumb enough to want to live somewhere, it certainly wouldn’t be in this place. It was full of stuffy wannabe rich assholes, who stuck their nose up at everything. Not to mention that it was somehow always winter here. What was up with that? Jungkook had no idea, and he didn’t want to stick around to find out. Breaking into Arendelle was a rare occurrence, due to the male not enjoying the feel of the place, but most of the residents had a least a few expensive goods, which he could pawn off. So glove-cloaked hands worked diligently to open one house, the next on his to-do list, and he had almost just gotten it, when footsteps sounded behind him.
Dropping the tools to the ground, with a loud clatter, he stood up, shit-eating grin taking up his entire face. Hands held themselves behind his back, as he faced the woman, who he assumed lived in the place he was currently trying to break into. He kicked the tools into a nearby bush, hoping they’d still be there at a later time, when he’d come back to retrieve them. “Did you call for a plumber? There’s been a report of leaks in the area--” he muttered carelessly, trying to avoid the familiar looking girl’s gaze.
