#sumin drabble

Today was date night with your boyfriend. You normally go to a fancy restaurant or to your guys’ favorite place but to change things up a little bit, Sumin decided he would cook for you.

“Please make sure that he doesn’t burn the place down.” Minjae pleaded as he reached the dorm’s front door.

He was going out with the rest of the members for the night to give you both some privacy.

His comment made you laugh hard.

“Yah, you have very little faith in me, hyung.” Your boyfriend sulked.

“Zero, actually.” Yechan peeked his head through the door. Sumin just gave him the stink eye.

“You all suck.” He stuck out his tongue at them.

“I’m sure you’ll do amazing, sweetheart.” You hugged his side tightly, the brown haired returned your hug with a bright smile.

A displeased sound came from the youngest. “Ew, love.”

“You say that now, but that’s gonna be you in the future.” Minjae laughed and ruffled his hair.

“We’ll see, hyung.” He rolled his eyes playfully.

“Yechan can’t cook to save his life, so that seems a little impossible.” Sumin smirked.

“Hey!”

“He’s got a point.” The oldest agreed and you nodded.

“Okay, is it ‘Bully Yechan day?” You all laughed.

“We love you!” You said as he walked out.

“Yeah, yeah.”

“We’re gonna go now. Good luck.” And with that Minjae left, leaving you with your boyfriend.

Sumin took the ingredients out of the fridge and laid them on the kitchen island.

“Do you want me to help you?”

“Nuh uh. I told you I was going to cook for you, and that’s exactly what I’m going to do.”

“Okay, baby.” You laughed. “I’ll just be your emotional support, then.”

“I like that, but you know what else I’d like? A kiss from my pretty girl.” He puckered up his lips.

“You are such a dork.” You smiled and gave him what he wanted.

“And you are so pretty.” You blushed and hid your face against his chest, action that made him chuckle.

“Stoop.”

“Never.” He kissed the top of your head.

After a minute, he let go and started working on the meal.

Surprisingly, he finished much quicker than you expected.

You helped him set the table and carried the plates to the dining room.

Sumin pulled out a chair for you to seat. “Pretty girl.”

“Thank you, sweetheart.” You sat down, smiling at him; he was such a cutie.

“I really hope you like it.” He grabbed your plate and filled it.

“I’m sure I will.” You could tell he was a little nervous, so you took his hand, rubbing your thumb against it. “Your members told me you’re an excellent chef, so.”

You took your first bite and your eyes widened immediately. “Wow, this is amazing, baby!”

He visibly relaxed. “I’m so glad.”

The rest of the night passed by with laughter and heart-eyed gazes.

“I had an incredible time, baby. We should do this more often.” You spoke with a soft smile, while leaning your chin on your hand. “What do you think?”

“Of course! I would love to cook for my pretty girl much more.” Sumin leaned in and kissed your nose, making you scrunch it up.

“Then it’s settled, Chef.” You giggled.
