SenNezu / NezuSen — I think of them as very cute, especially post-canon! I HC Senjuro to be a baby transfemme and Nezuko to be his gender envy. Nezuko would help Senjuro pick out her outfits.

UmeNezu / NezUme — They are literally parallels of siblinghood, how could I not? I think they would be a very interesting dynamic to explore together, especially in the Academy AU. NezUme are big lesbians in my eyes so they are the prettiest girls in school who are both not into men.

KanaUme / UmeKana — They had both had own unique experiences with their parents that I like, especially with the fact that Kanao was going to be sold into prostition if not for the Kocho sisters with Ume's backstory, also in the Academy AU arts they are cute.

KanaNezu / NezuKana — They are also great parallels in their mutual struggle for bodily autonomy! I think the two would be great companions for each other, especially post!canon when everyone starts passing.

TanKana — I think Tanjiro helping Kanao realize her ability to choose for herself is the basis of their relationship and what follows after. I HC both to be autistic so there is a mutual sense of otherness that allows Tanjiro and Kanao to understand each other in ways other people have not considered.

GenKana — I totally HC that Genya and Kanao have known each other quite a bit, especially after the final selection. Though their dynamic is very endearing to me, especially since they both have older siblings who are Hashira. I HC Kanao is really interested in his more demonic traits and is either too shy to ask, or just shoves her hand into his mouth to see.

GenTan — I cannot deny that they have something going on. I JC Tanjiro as the weirdo between them, while Genya isn't exactly as eager to like him, but is definetly feeling it whenever Tanjiro comes around with that damn tooth. Tanjiro admires his demonic traits which makes Genya both flustered and a bit annoyed since he despises them, but he'll warm up.

GenAoi — Genya blushing like a tomato as Aoi and the girls tried to feed them was literally enough to convince me to ship these two. I think their personalities would work really well together and have a lot of potential in exploratory fanfics.

InoAoi — I like them a lot honestly and I wished we got more content of them. I HC Aoi to be a big struggler of chronic stress and insomia, so Inosuke being able to make her laugh despite all the trouble he causes is something I find balancing. Inosuke and Aoi have a lot they could learn from each other.

MuiAoi — The fact that Aoi and Muichiro went on the same Final Selection and the fic where Muichiro remembers her is making my fanfic brain go off the charts. Muichiro's role there would have left a impression on Aoi, so I imagine making them meet once again has extreme potential.

TanAoi / AoiTan — I do not really believe the claims that Aoi has crush on Tanjiro is real but I do think that Tanjiro reaffirming her self-worth and saying she is appreciated has definetly made her question whether or not it was relief or butterflies in her stomach that she feels about him

ZenAoi — Zenitsu and Aoi are both very insecure people about their worth and look down on themselves as 'cowardly' as a result. I think Aoi could definitely reign Zenitsu and it would be a very interesting character analysis if these two were to end up in a relationship. Plus I think they could be chronically stressed together.

Hashira

UzuiWives / Uzui Family — They are literally THE Polycule. Their relationship in the canon timelines and the academy au is incredibly different however, but I love how they have worked so hard to be healthy people. They are the only pieces of each other's past they have left, and the trauma bonding they must have gone through is INSANE. I doubt they have always seen each other as romantic until they gotten older however, which meant they chose to love each other.

I don't really like shipping Tengen with other characters (tastes alone), but I do see his wives with others. I COMPLETELY agree with the idea that you cannot really ship any Uzui with other characters without bringing every one else due to how utterly inseparable they are in my mindl; but also they are also seperate characters and are not a hivemind, so I think it depends honestly on how you view it.

GiyuSuma / SumaGiyu — I think they are cute together and Suma's rather lively personality would contrast well with Giyuu's. I think Giyuu and Suma would have some similarities, especially with Suma's lack of confidence with survivng in the Red Light District Also SumaGiyu Yaoi is literally peak.

SumaMitsu / MitsuSuma — They are so very similar in personality, though I think Mitsuri has a lot more personal issues and insecurities compared to Suma, who seems very assured about what she wants in comparison. I HC that in the Modern!AU Mitsuri took home TransMasc!Suma mistaking him for Giyu

HinaKana / KanaHina — Hinatsuru and Kanae are very similar in personalities, though Hinatsuru definetly has a different view on the world considering she was raised as a Kunoichi. Its likely they have met through Tengen! I HC Hinatsuru would tell her about husbands and help Kanae with her internalized misogyny like Tengen did with her.

SaneMakio / MakioSane — I think these two would banter a lot, like have active staring contests from across the room kind of stuff. Makio has once struck Sanemi so hard that through the brain damage he started to feel heterosexual attraction to a woman who matches his freak and never fell off of that ride since.

SaneKana — Sanemi and Kanae have a very cute relationship I HC that Kanae has a hidden weird kid side that comes out once they start settling, like her licking his wounds to see why demons like it so much and speaking about weird spiritual stuff. Sanemi just goes along with it since Kanae is both very kind to him but also he is mildy scared of her sometimes, which is very attractive.

Kanae wants Sanemi in neither a platonic, romantic, or even sexual way, but a evil secret forth way. (Autistic Hyperfixation)

SaneMitsu / MitsuSane — Mitsuri finds him attractive and Sanemi is unfortunately attracted to women who annoy him (thanks Kanae). Neither of them really know how to go foreward with this due to their own personal problems. Even better if this is Yuri!

SaneOba / ObaSane — I like how they both seem to be on the same page most of the time, not to mention the one mission they fell into Infinity Castle together. Two grumpy men with Mommy Issues duo is something I deeply fw.

ObaMitsu / MitsuOba — I do not need to explain this, but it is once again with their insecurities. Mitsuri wants to be loved so bad despite all her perceived flaws in herself, which I HC actually kinda destroyed some of her past relationships, and Obanai thinks of themself as too cursed to be loved. Obanai think Mitsuri could find another, better partner but cannot help but be jealous whenever Mitsuri looks the other way, Mitsuri is the light in "Live in Darkness, Bring me Brightness."

I always bump up Mitsuri's insecurities to massively destructive levels because both of them thinking they are not worthy of being loved but Mitsuri still wanting to despite believing it will innevitably not work out is so good. Obanai sees the best of Mitsuri that she doesn't see in herself, and so does Mitsuri with him.

Obashino / ShinoOba — Obanai and Shinobu talk sometimes about defensive positions and their physical abilities, and Obanai views her as "Hardworking and Patient". I always like to explore their dynamic and have an AU of them being the last survivors of the Final Battle purely because I wanted to see how two of the most suicidal Hashira would handle being alive while everyone else has died.

I HC that they both have major health issues that makes it so they have to be really careful about what they eat and their muscles, which makes them hang around each other. There is a shared fragility between them that they both would be 'proffesional' about as an excuse for vulnerability, but it's left up in the air (which I both love and despise)

ShinoMitsu / MitsuShino — They both think of each other as cute in their opinions towards each other. There is something about them being each other's idealized bodies that gets me going, especially with their respective relationships with their role as woman. "We love people who possesses the things we lack."

Shinobu's daintiness does not fit her personality as a hunter, with her maternity being adopted by her sister who likely adopted that too. While Mitsuri feels like she is an awkward fit in the mold of being a feminine woman. I HC her desire to be a wife because not only does she want to be loveable but also because it would prove her worth as a woman. Solidarity, Mutual insecurity, and Mutual Envy please save me.

KanaMitsu / MitsuKana — I saw a comic of them once and I was so blown away that I never looked back on them. I think Kanae would mess with Mitsuri a bit, before ultimately spoiling her, idk but their relationship is either going to be the most cutest thing ever, or like the kinkiest, flirtiest thing on earth. Kanae would definetly openly admire Mitsuri's strength, which flusters Mitsuri to no end.

I HC both have issues relating to feminity and their overall role as woman. I think that while not the most apparent in their situation, this would definetly be interesting to explore as their relationship developes.

GiyuShino / ShinoGiyu — I always enjoyed their dynamic and interactions on screen, but I found it almost best left undescribed. Like they are both family, friends, workspouses and something else entirely out of bounds for the two of them. I just put them as 'close' without any really further description (it's also the few ones that is not sexual, Giyuu's lowkey a WHORE in this chart for some reason ToT)

GiyuKana / KanaGiyu — They have known each other for quite a while before even Sanemi and I think they would be very good together as a pairing. We do not have a lot about their relationship, but I am very much eager to explore it myself if no one wants to. They would have a much softer dynamic compared to the others here, and I think that calmness and stability is what both of them would seek in each other.

GiyuMitsu / MitsuGiyu — Giyuu and Mitsuri have always had rather amusing dynamics, especially when Mitsuri tickled him and Giyuu was left mortified, and I like calling them the 'Fatfuck duo' since they are both absolute losers in my eyes and they would be a mess together bother getting their shit together. I think they are far more similar than we think, especially with their perceived selves; Giyuu is like Emotionally Constipated Depression, while Mitsuri is Emotionally Constipated Mania.

Giyuu was rather similar to Mitsuri when he was younger, and I think not only does he see Tsutako in her, but also his younger self. I like to HC that they have a "She likes to Cook, She likes to Eat" Dynamic with Giyuu's hobby being cooking and eating food, and Mitsuri comes over to eat food with him.

SabiGiyuu / GiyuSabi — Sabito and Giyuu are like the most classic doomed backstory yaoi there is. Giyuu definetly was never supposed to have been the one to have survived in that Final Selection, but alas his teenage coming-of-age homoerotic situationship had to go sacrifice himself.

I like to imagine in the AU where Sabito lives, they have the OG TSHD YoshiKaru dynamic where they like each other but they never actually do anything about it or establish what they are. Mostly cuz I need to inflict TSHD!SabiGiyu on canon

SabiMitsu / MitsuSabi — Sabito has a type and it's definetly Mitsuri and Giyuu. In the au that he survived he would have definelty taken a liking to her and they would get along so well, plus they are both pink-haired which Mitsuri would definetly fuss about since she now has someone else to be pink with.

GiyuRen / RenGiyuu — Kyoju and Giyuu give off 'Soviet Union x China propoganda' Yaoi and its killing me honestly. I think Kyojuro could legitametly get Giyuu some will to live via connecting to him through food Dungeon Meshi style and it would be beautiful. Also, how tf can I not ship them? Fire and Water? Firey Light Hair x Depressed Dark Hair? I liked SasuNaruSasu OFC I would FW GiyuRen!

RenShino / ShinoRen — I think Kyojuro would be very chill about his attraction to men, but once he finds out he likes women he'd be a bit of a uncertain mess about it. He could not confess to Shinobu to save his life. He'd try to get her to eat more when the poison starts to become more visible, which Shinobu would feel a bit guilty about, but she'd come along since she knows she could trust him.

TamaShino / ShinoTama — Pharmacy Yuri is what empowers me. I always imagined their little partnership to be the most tense situationship ever, considering Shinobu's relationship with demons, but eventually this would help her realize why Kanae had always wanted to see the good in demons without compromising her own views. She can feel a solidarity between her desire for revenge against Douma and Tamayo's beef with Muzan.

GyoKoi / KoiGyo — I think Gyomei and Koinatus are very sweet together, it's classic Hime/Bushi stuff and I want Koinatsu to have a very kind husband and Gyomei to have a lovely wife. Modern!Au would have them date for 20+ years before even considering marrying despite already having adopted kids together. Bonus (Stuff that I have recently considered but I haven't put in the chart, Will update as I go.)

HinaRen / RenHina — I think Hinatsuru could elicit some DEEP Mommy issues inside of Kyojuro that he would NOT know how to handle. It would make such an awesome case analysis on both of them, especially if I make that AU about them about Hinatsuru dying in the RLD and getting a second chance with Kyojuro. The dynamic they would have is very sweet and I think it would be so so so very soft and also funny.

RenKana — They are both dead and they both haunt the narrative, plus they both act as everyone's dead wife. I think they should lez it up and actually makeout in the afterlife /j I think Kyojuro's and Kanae's personality would go really well together and thinking of them makes me feel all warm and giddy inside.

SenMui / MuiSen — Senjuro and Muichiro are an unlikely pairing but you need to see the potential, especially the slow burn ones. Yes, I got converted by a SenMui oomf
