Simship Entertainment Artists at ClaĂre Magazine Red Carpet Event
The artists signed under Simship Entertainment were all invited to a red carpet event for the premier of the new issue of ClaĂre Magazine. All artists posed and answered questions for the paparazzi.
Paparazzi: What are your plans for the next few months?
Mina: I was a participant on Sims Next Top Model, however the season got cancelled due to technical difficulties. Iâve been practicing at the agency for a few months now so I can improve, so hopefully youâll be seeing me in some high fashion advertisements and commercials very soon!
Paparazzi:Â Could you send a message to S.O.Sâ fans?
Dawon: Hello everyone! Weâll be making our comeback with âDream Girlsâ very very soon, so please wait for us! I hope you all really like the song, and are impressed by how much Iâve improved since our debut. I love you guys!
Soojung Kang ăS.O.Să
Paparazzi:Â What is the hardest part about being an idol so far?
Soojung: Being an idol and promoting with S.O.S is a dream come true, but itâs very stressful wondering if our fans will like our next comeback or not. I want to make sure that all the fans are happy and will continue to support us, even after S.O.S disbands. Even though preparing for new comebacks is hard work, itâs so much fun and I love every second of it!
Paparazzi: What are the Simship members of S.O.Sâ plans for after S.O.S disbands.
Eunhye: Well, nothing is set in stone, but so far we plan to do group promotions with the 5 of us under K-Sims Entertainment, and then make our official debut. I donât want to reveal too many plans, but I hope the S.O.S fans will continue to support us after disbandment, and that we will manage to gather many new fans when we re-debut. I also hope that all of the S.O.S members remain close friends for as long as we can, and support each others solo activities.
Aiko Nakagawa ăS.O.Să
Paparazzi:Â Can you share some of your personal experiences from your track to debuting?
Aiko: Uh... I was a trainee in Japan for nearly 6 years, but I moved here 2 years ago. I think the hardest part of my journey was on Sulsul101. There were so many beautiful and talented trainees, and I was really unsure of myself. I also really missed my home in Kyoto. While I was training and competing on Sulsul101, I thought a lot about whether I should just quit and move back to Japan, but I realized that this is my dream and I wonât give up until I succeed. The other Simship members of S.O.S are so charismatic, and I was scared they would debut without me, but Iâm glad the viewers recognized my talents and allowed me to debut. I promise that I wonât let everyone down, and Iâll keep working harder to become a better idol.
Paparazzi: What is your favorite part about being a member of S.O.S?
Mina: I love everything! I love being on stage and meeting with all the fans who support us. I love singing and dancing as well. Going on stage, seeing all our S.O.S fans cheering us on, and hearing them sing along to our songs, is an irreplaceable feeling! Itâs the best. I also love being able to promote with my other S.O.S members. Besides the members from my agency, Iâve gotten so close with the rest of the members as well. We were all competing against each other on Sulsul101 so there was a bit of tension, but weâre all so close now because of all the hard work weâve done together. I think Iâll be really sad when S.O.S disbands, but I want to enjoy the time we have together so far, and I know we will all stay friends and support each other when we debut in our separate groups. I hope we get to reunite one day.
Eunji Zhang ăFull Moonă
Paparazzi: What inspired you to want to become an idol?
Eunji: I was born in China. K-Pop started to become really popular there when I was a kid, and I saw a Sul Generation performance on TV when I was watching with my family. I was so captivated by their dance moves and singing abilities, and they looked like they were having so much fun. I immediately knew thatâs what I wanted to do. I had already been taking dance lessons, but after I saw how amazing it looked to dance on stage, I started taking my dance lessons a lot more seriously. I started singing training as well. I want to be a well-rounded idol that lots of girls can look up to and admire, similarly to how I admire singers when I was young.
Kyungwon Lee ăFull Moonă
Paparazzi: What shocked you most about being an idol after you debuted?
Kyungwon: We debuted very recently with our debut track âBoy Downâ, but I was surprised at how many people showed support for us. Since I was the center for the song, I felt a lot of pressure. Iâm very confident in my abilities but I felt some sort of responsibility for whether our stages would be liked or not. I was so shocked about the praise we received. Itâs made the members really really happy, and weâre excited to promote more and show more sides of us in the future. Thank you so much to all the fans who are supporting us, and to everyone whoâs been listening to our song!
Hana Shin ăFull Moonă
Paparazzi: What are your hopes and plans for Full Moon in the future?
Hana: Since Iâm the leader of Full Moon, I have really high hopes for us. I was really surprised but really happy at the attention our debut song received, but I want us to work even harder so we can continue to improve. I hope we are able to appear on many different variety shows and radio shows soon so we are able to promote ourselves. One of our biggest goals is to win a weekly music show award, and win a rookie award at an awards show. I hope I can lead Full Moon into becoming a successful and popular group. Most importantly, we want to make our fans happy and produce good music that everybody can enjoy.
Yeri Jeon ăFull Moonă
Paparazzi:Â How have your experiences been at music shows so far?
Yeri: It feels really surreal. There are so many famous and talented idols there, and Iâm always really nervous to talk to them to promote our group. However, I was surprised at how friendly and kind the senior singers are when we greet them. The other members are all very gorgeous and talented and confident, but Iâm the youngest so I feel a little more insecure. But everyone is really encouraging. I met Butterfly Effect once while we were walking through the TV station building to get to the filming area. All the members were very friendly and gave us tips and words of encouragement for promoting. Even though Iâm really nervous before going on stage, itâs the best feeling to be able to perform for our fans who come to see us.Â
Soonyoung Bae ăFull Moonă
Paparazzi: Which member of Full Moon do you think will become most popular?
Soonyoung: We all have very different charms, so Iâm not sure. Eunji has a very strong girl crush vibe, and sheâs a very good dancer and singer. She looks really strong but has a lot of unexpected aegyo. Hana is our leader and is really beautiful. Sheâs really talented but sheâs also really intelligent and well spoken, so I think sheâll be really popular. Kyungwon is really gorgeous, and she was the center for our debut song. Sheâs also really good at being cute and sexy at the same time. I think sheâs the most popular member at the moment, because sheâs also really good at fan service and answering fans requests. Yeri is a little shy because sheâs the youngest, but sheâs so cute and her personality becomes totally different when she performs. Sheâs a really powerful and confident performer. In regards to myself, I think Iâm a really good rapper, and I have strong girl crush vibes like Eunji. Iâll also be appearing in acting roles very soon, I think I will gain more popularity as time goes on. Overall, we all have different strengths, so I hope we all get popular in our own rights, and Full Moon becomes one of the nations top girl groups!
