Just recently the second season of popular tv show SulSul101 (that brought the beloved S.O.S) ended. Fans and spectators felt that the show was a lower quality than last season.

From contestants dropping out left to right, to talented trainees being eliminated early. The ending brought in a little backlash.

The final episode brought a lot of tears to fans eyes as they watched all the trainees get their final rankings and say their goodbyes. But was the final rankings really fair? People think that Junichi Noboru and Jungho got special treatment and shouldn’t be in the final line up.

Fans claim that ‘evil editing’ was the reason for some of the eliminations and felt that Minjoon who went down 11 rankings was a victim of the ‘evil’ editing and that Chawoon who went up 8 and Karlos who stayed at the top were the producers favorites to win giving him a unfair advantage.

Fans of the show are demanding a explanation from the shows producers about the results. What do you think about the way SulSul ended?

[+274, -88] I dont even believe the show's staff looked at the audiences votes. Minjoon dropped down so far and that just looks so obvious it's crazy. Yu Issah was really talented and now he's gone, and maybe I'm a little petty over Joshua oppa getting kicked after all he went through.

[+253, -24] The talented trainees got screwed over the most. Taeyang barely making it into the group is the only good thing this show has done.

[+204, -96] Who the f**k is Alec? I had to just now search his performances from past challenges, not once did this trainee even show up on screen regularly for me ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Yu Issah got eliminated for some nobody Alec to make 9th?? This is a joke.

We know this twin duo love each other, but here's the evil editing making people down vote seungheon like that.

For the talent challenge of SulSul101 Season 2, JunSeo decided to show off his abilities as a dancer, rapper, and songwriter! He wrote the song ‘Beat Beat’ specifically for the show, rapped to it, and choreographed his own dance. He found, however, that he didn’t have enough time to finish choreographing the dance to its fullest potential, so he inserted a picture of his smile at the end, because he considers it his best feature. He hopes his work has been enough to impress audiences, as he hasn’t yet made his debut and has been involved in a scandal previously. He wants to use his hard work and talent to show that he is more than the scandal he was involved in, and that he is worthy to be part of the upcoming group 5oul Radiation.

Mina Hirano 「Model」

Paparazzi: What are your plans for the next few months?

Mina: I was a participant on Sims Next Top Model, however the season got cancelled due to technical difficulties. I’ve been practicing at the agency for a few months now so I can improve, so hopefully you’ll be seeing me in some high fashion advertisements and commercials very soon!

Paparazzi: Could you send a message to S.O.S’ fans?

Dawon: Hello everyone! We’ll be making our comeback with “Dream Girls” very very soon, so please wait for us! I hope you all really like the song, and are impressed by how much I’ve improved since our debut. I love you guys!

Paparazzi: What is the hardest part about being an idol so far?

Soojung: Being an idol and promoting with S.O.S is a dream come true, but it’s very stressful wondering if our fans will like our next comeback or not. I want to make sure that all the fans are happy and will continue to support us, even after S.O.S disbands. Even though preparing for new comebacks is hard work, it’s so much fun and I love every second of it!

Paparazzi: What are the Simship members of S.O.S’ plans for after S.O.S disbands.

Eunhye: Well, nothing is set in stone, but so far we plan to do group promotions with the 5 of us under K-Sims Entertainment, and then make our official debut. I don’t want to reveal too many plans, but I hope the S.O.S fans will continue to support us after disbandment, and that we will manage to gather many new fans when we re-debut. I also hope that all of the S.O.S members remain close friends for as long as we can, and support each others solo activities.

Paparazzi: Can you share some of your personal experiences from your track to debuting?

Aiko: Uh... I was a trainee in Japan for nearly 6 years, but I moved here 2 years ago. I think the hardest part of my journey was on Sulsul101. There were so many beautiful and talented trainees, and I was really unsure of myself. I also really missed my home in Kyoto. While I was training and competing on Sulsul101, I thought a lot about whether I should just quit and move back to Japan, but I realized that this is my dream and I won’t give up until I succeed. The other Simship members of S.O.S are so charismatic, and I was scared they would debut without me, but I’m glad the viewers recognized my talents and allowed me to debut. I promise that I won’t let everyone down, and I’ll keep working harder to become a better idol.

Mina Lim 「S.O.S」

Paparazzi: What is your favorite part about being a member of S.O.S?

Mina: I love everything! I love being on stage and meeting with all the fans who support us. I love singing and dancing as well. Going on stage, seeing all our S.O.S fans cheering us on, and hearing them sing along to our songs, is an irreplaceable feeling! It’s the best. I also love being able to promote with my other S.O.S members. Besides the members from my agency, I’ve gotten so close with the rest of the members as well. We were all competing against each other on Sulsul101 so there was a bit of tension, but we’re all so close now because of all the hard work we’ve done together. I think I’ll be really sad when S.O.S disbands, but I want to enjoy the time we have together so far, and I know we will all stay friends and support each other when we debut in our separate groups. I hope we get to reunite one day.

Eunji Zhang 「Full Moon」

Paparazzi: What inspired you to want to become an idol?

Eunji: I was born in China. K-Pop started to become really popular there when I was a kid, and I saw a Sul Generation performance on TV when I was watching with my family. I was so captivated by their dance moves and singing abilities, and they looked like they were having so much fun. I immediately knew that’s what I wanted to do. I had already been taking dance lessons, but after I saw how amazing it looked to dance on stage, I started taking my dance lessons a lot more seriously. I started singing training as well. I want to be a well-rounded idol that lots of girls can look up to and admire, similarly to how I admire singers when I was young.

Kyungwon Lee 「Full Moon」

Paparazzi: What shocked you most about being an idol after you debuted?

Kyungwon: We debuted very recently with our debut track ‘Boy Down’, but I was surprised at how many people showed support for us. Since I was the center for the song, I felt a lot of pressure. I’m very confident in my abilities but I felt some sort of responsibility for whether our stages would be liked or not. I was so shocked about the praise we received. It’s made the members really really happy, and we’re excited to promote more and show more sides of us in the future. Thank you so much to all the fans who are supporting us, and to everyone who’s been listening to our song!

Paparazzi: What are your hopes and plans for Full Moon in the future?

Hana: Since I’m the leader of Full Moon, I have really high hopes for us. I was really surprised but really happy at the attention our debut song received, but I want us to work even harder so we can continue to improve. I hope we are able to appear on many different variety shows and radio shows soon so we are able to promote ourselves. One of our biggest goals is to win a weekly music show award, and win a rookie award at an awards show. I hope I can lead Full Moon into becoming a successful and popular group. Most importantly, we want to make our fans happy and produce good music that everybody can enjoy.

Yeri Jeon 「Full Moon」

Paparazzi: How have your experiences been at music shows so far?

Yeri: It feels really surreal. There are so many famous and talented idols there, and I’m always really nervous to talk to them to promote our group. However, I was surprised at how friendly and kind the senior singers are when we greet them. The other members are all very gorgeous and talented and confident, but I’m the youngest so I feel a little more insecure. But everyone is really encouraging. I met Butterfly Effect once while we were walking through the TV station building to get to the filming area. All the members were very friendly and gave us tips and words of encouragement for promoting. Even though I’m really nervous before going on stage, it’s the best feeling to be able to perform for our fans who come to see us.

Paparazzi: Which member of Full Moon do you think will become most popular?

Hanbyul is a new trainee of starlight ent. and a longtime friend of Nami’s. When the two return from the girlgroup project the three girls, and maybe more trainees, will debut in Starlights first girlgroup.
