okay im like really confused about what happened w dumboner?? were you friends with him?
so essentially i met a really cute guy on tumblr and he lived in rhode island and we started talking and got really close and we had similar interests such as theater and swimming and whatnot and he was really nice and we spoke a lot and eventually we started to develop feelings for each other and it was very cute actually.
one day, after asking multiple times to facetime, he said he couldn't and that he was stuck in providence rhode island with his homophobic uncle who would punish him if caught with a guy. that's all well and good so, being impatient as i was, i asked him via a video i sent if he would be my boyfriend. being stuck in providence, he couldn't send one back but still said yes and we started dating. we spoke every day and stayed up late talking and he told me he was returning tonight or tomorrow so i was looking forward to face timing him.
however recently a few of his friends and i have realized that whenever he sent us messages our blog trackers showed up as someone from maine in our ask box, not rhode island? we thought there was some sort of glitch but it was repetitive and unusual and he never showed us his face live (only pictures and videos) so recently some people (jared toasterstruclel, lauren suitedick, and more) did a google reverse image search of some of his selfies and instagram pictures and found their original sources. he's been stealing vine videos and tweeted/instagrammed pictures to use to fool everyone. when he was called out he deleted. he isn't answering any more messages and the email address he used for iMessage no longer exists. he's gone completely.
the thing to note with this i guess would be that this same person has pulled this before. certifiedgay, majesticgay, and dumboner all were rooted in maine and assumed different peoples' identities. upon finding them they all promptly deleted and never spoke with anyone again, but remade under a new identity shortly after. so i think we all have to be careful around here for the next few days/weeks and please please don't befriend people who refuse to snapchat because that is a really good way of getting genuine facial/existential authentication, and zakk never did that.
