oc junk ab suht (atm only developing on fr, but lol im in the mood 2 talk on this blog)
he’s about holding on. something everlasting, outside of the cycles of decay and renewal, rot and clarity. he doesn’t promote survival. necromancy isn’t about survival. he removes you from the equation of survival - there’s no struggle, only continuity outside the life cycles.
a fucking disease, is what he is to people who worship survival above all else.
his gig is that shit around him rises relatively without his control, but it’s based on their will to live. plants and shit, they grow around him in suffocating masses and bloom out of control. simple animals. whatever.
people? they’re different. the people he wants around (or maybe he doesn’t - maybe someone just wants information from the dead. you hired a necromancer, after all) don’t fucking come back. with all this nihilistic existential crisis bullshit going on, no one.... actually wants to be alive. none of them, deep down in the end.
he doesn’t understand. he doesn’t understand why no one wants to fucking be alive, why they just want to. stop. existing.
lord. he raises flowers to grow around him because he sees that they make people happy, and he hopes they’ll make him happy too.
he’s an exploration of the point of holding on when existence is meaningless and the universe is dead anyway.
'Bad Asteroid'- The Aristocrats
So chill. Guthrie Govan will be my favourite guitarist for a long time.
