Sugili (giant eel), this gigantic lake monster can grow up to two meters long and locals love to eat it. Deep-fried sugili is the most famous dish in Tentena, that is common to be exported to Japan. Locals use massive traps to catch this eel near the shallow parts of the lake. Be warned though that there is indication that population of this eel is starting to become endangered.
