Indy smiled to himself, happy that for once a plan was coming together nicely, nothing going wrong. Sawyer had the cake for the retirement party ready on time, and Indy asked if he would be willing to help by bringing it, so he didnât accidentally ruin all the hard work heâd put in. Especially after theyâd gone over the details and just from the rough sketch it looked like it was something Indy didnât even want to breath near for fear of ruining the creation.
He thought it might be a good opportunity for the baker. He could make some new business connections that might need a bakery for something. Plus his tentative friend had said he did know of the museum and expressed an interest when Indy said he would show him around at some point. A perfect opportunity at the very least to get around to talking to the other man more, anyway. He was already honest with himself in the fact that he kind of liked Sawyer, he couldnât very well keep stalking the poor guy at his business to get to know him.
No matter how good his baking was.
Giving an anxious look around at the refreshments area, he really hoped they didnât overdo it with the cake. But he got excited when they were planning it out, and it really was impressive looking. One could certainly say he was making an impression. Indy would really have to thank Sawyer again for everything when he came back.
