Bob Mouldâs influence on punk and alternative rock is immeasurable. Retreating to a secluded farmhouse in Minnesota, he quit drinking and drugs, channeling his energy into a deeply personal solo debut, Workbook. The album marked a departure from HĂźsker DĂźâs unrelenting ferocity, embracing acoustic textures and introspective songwriting. Yet, despite the stylistic shift, Mouldâs music remained just as powerful and poignant.
