the dentist was awful
for starters i couldn't drive myself there because my car was elsewhere and my mother is literally the most useless human ever. i finally called my little brother and he gave me a ride. my appointment was at 3:30 but i thought it was at 3 so my brother was late coming to get me and so I was freaking out about being late. this day is off to a great start. obviously i'm not late and i do the waiting thing. alone. because i wasn't going to be the fucking weenie to ask her little brother to hold her hand while she got dental work done. thankfully dana showed up right before they really started working on me (I have to take the needles alone which yeah no didn't like that). so whatever the dentist is ready to do his thing and he's telling me about this thing he has that'll hold my mouth open and keep my tongue away form his tools so i'm like cool. he called it a dental dam. i giggled until i fucking saw this thing
IT'S THIS HUGE THING OF RUBBER WHATEVER THAT IS SUPPOSED TO STRETCH OVER MY MOUTH AND HE CUTS HOLE IN IT TO GET INSIDE MY MOUTH AND LIKE idk if you guys know this but there are few things that really freak me out on all levels. covering my mouth is one of them.
i wanted to tell him hell no i'll manage my own mouth today thank you but of course now of all times is when my loud ass mouth deserts me and i can hardly makes a peep and i just never really recover and he puts this thing on my mouth and i'm freaking out but it's too late to stop him and i wanted to fuck flip out and rip it off and run but i couldn't and fuck it was awful and thank god dana was there or i might have actually lost it if i was by myself.
it was not okay i never wanna see one of those things again it was so scary and uncomfortable and just nnnnoooooooooo
and on top of that i have weird ass fucking teeth and one of my roots, of which i have extra, were next to impossible to find and drill. a lot of tugging was involved. i'm sore
