Oh, my. Five things that make me happy. Let’s see:
1. Spending quality time with my spouse, which we don’t get to do nearly often enough. I love having dinner together, going on a date, going someplace new together, sometimes just driving in the car together. It’s so nice when we can have some time together that doesn’t involve rushing around on errands, or doing housekeeping, etc.
2. Having time to really indulge in writing fic, which almost never happens. I love sitting down for a few hours at a stretch and really working at a chapter, preferably with a warm drink and some nice music in the background.
3. Seeing my professional writing be published. That always makes for a happy day, and sometimes a happy week or two. :)
4. Seeing my parents, my grandmother, and my two closest friends. They all live quite far away, so I don’t get to see them very much. I’m always happy when I do.
5. Singing! I sing in our community chorus, and I’ve sung in choirs all my life, and I would miss it very much if I didn’t.
