I believe in forgiveness. Who am I to act like I’ve never asked for it? Let the cycle of bitterness end. 

I believe in redemption. We turn our backs on each other, I refuse to turn my back to you.

I believe in hope. Through the despair, we thrive and endure. The universe marches on, and so will I.

I believe in kindess. Charity and goodwill are the seeds of growth, I’m going to watch my garden grow.

I believe in peace. War has taken too many lives, destroyed countless souls. I won’t let it devour yours.

Some say in ice.

From what I’ve tasted of desire

I hold with those who favor fire.

But if it had to perish twice,

I think I know enough of hate

To say that for destruction ice

Is also great

And would suffice.
