Subversive Comics Kickstarts Bearlands Issue 6

A short while back we reviewed the first three issues of Subversive Comics’ great Bearlands comic. Written by Jeremy Biggs and illustrated by Bakki, Bearlands takes the now seemingly ubiquitous zombie apocalypse tale and gives it a new twist – teddy bears.

Hello there!

Just to remind y'all, we have a new book out called 'Metal Made Flesh'. Written by Subversive Chief Jeremy Biggs, and with art and story by Simeon Astin, Metal Made Flesh is a short story telling the tale of a cold assassin transferring his consciousness into that of a small child in order to assassinate a television presenter. It can be purchased from the website for only $4!

This weekend (Sat 23rd and Sun 24th) is a day to mark in your diaries, Zombears and Zombettes, for Subversive Chief Jeremy and his impeccably well dressed lackey Josh will be bringing the gospel of Bearlands to LSCC!

And we're a small independent comic book publisher. Our main seller is 'Bearlands', a tale of a badass bear out for revenge in a post-apocalyptic world infested with Zombears. Written by Subversive Chief Jeremy Biggs and with art from Thai artist Baki it's currently on Issue One: Left 4 Ted, with Issue Two: City Of The Ted pencilled in for an early spring release.
