8. Are there platonic gestures your character values the most?
twitch is kinda difficult to figure out bc they're fairly neutral on what other people do, they're too focused on what they're doing themselves. but for what they Do appreciate....hm.
i think she likes when people listen to them. as in, really, actually listen to them talk for 5 minutes solid, and actually absorb what they have to say
in the same vein, they really value when people don't mention & look past things about themselves that upset them-the headaches, when they lose their train of thought, when ze's forgetful, or anything about how their brain messes up words sometimes.
grace's #1 gesture is honestly just....being remembered, as kinda sad as that is. when people reach out or write him a letter because he finds it difficult to. when people like to talk to him or invite him for tea even though he's quiet.
people who remember his triggers, things he dislikes or can't do & plan around it without him needing to ask. silence makes him anxious so someone playing a phonograph to ease that would be on his mind for Days about how considerate it was
he knows he's quieter than the people he spends time with & he's a little easy to forget, so it means a lot when people remember him!!
basically grace is very easy to please friendship wise bc he thinks he deserves nothing by default<3
