A Letter To Submissive-Seeking.
I call you that despite not even knowing your real name. I call you that because you have proven time and time again that that is what you are to me. A dear friend.
You probably won't ever get to see this but I need to write it anyway.
I saw your latest email this morning, the 11th of September, 2019. It was dated 9/10/19 (American style, of course). I'd just got up and was quickly checking Tumblr before getting ready for work. I have to be honest here. Although expected at some point, it floored me! We are never ready no matter how much time we have to prepare. I had to make my sandwiches through very teary eyes. Please don't judge me, my friend. There's not a lot more I can say about your email except to say that I'm so pleased that you have the choice to end things as you wish to, in a place you want to be, with who you want to be with. Your Hubby is an extraordinary man! Much love to you, him, and your family.
We've known each other for four years now. We haven't actually privately chatted much, but we have communicated via comments on posts a fair amount. We have got to know each other via our posts. I shall never forget the day, not that long after I discovered this community, that I posted about my doubts as to whether I was submissive or not. You responded by assuring me that I am. You showed me such love and understanding. From that day on we were submissive sisters! We discovered many parallels in our lives. I once expressed my desire to see the stars in a night sky that was unpolluted by artificial light. You offered to take me to a place. A favourite place of yours where we could lie back and enjoy the night's vista. Oh how I wish we could! But, I will one day make it to that place and I will honour you as I look up at the same vision you have seen many times. You will be there with me! We have a mutual love of running. Not just any old running but, trail running! It is in our blood. You are so accomplished in this field, while I am starting again. Trying to get my body to remember what it could once do. I am getting there but it is slow going. I can't commit to as much training as our Ol' Wolf can. Talking about @instructor144 Your friendship with him has been a joy to watch. And so funny at times! You have really put a spell on him! I smile so much at his Wolfie protestations, knowing full well that he loves it really! :)
Your love for D's shines like a beacon. Your knowledge of this life is exceptional. Your willingness to advise and help all who needed it was nothing short of amazing. You took a fair amount of flak for your efforts. But you helped so many more, than were upset.
You are one truly amazing lady. Tough? Hell yeah! Wise? For sure! Respectful and kind? No contest! One of a kind? Unique! Brave? Without a doubt!
Your knowledge, advice and love for us will be here forever. You are eternal. Your spirit will be with us forever. In my mind, you will never die. There will be lots of times I will see or experience something as I go about my life that will invoke you in my mind. And when I am running and struggling, or facing a hard time in life, I know you will be there. Probably to give me a good kick up the arse! ;)
Anyway, my friend. I know there is much more I wish to say. Much more that I will think of after finishing this letter to you. But those things we can talk about once you have settled in Valhalla. I know you will sort out that place and that you will drink them all under the table!
May the Gods grant you a peaceful passing, dear Lady.
