do you have sources for the tracing claim? i believe you, but it'd be nice to have proof. —isuggestnotbeingacreep
Suvi plagarized the work of Japanese artist @/touminnsit on Twitter which was posted May 11, 2025. (Link to the original art) (Archival link)
Suvi's "inspired" art was posted on May 15, 2025, 4 days later. They made the comment crediting the artist on May 17, 2025, 2 days later, only because they were caught trying to pass off another artist's work as their own.
Suvi deleted both Tweets regarding the art shortly afterward. The link to their art would have been ( https://x.com/1amSubmasTrain/status/1922960704048382188 )
This is an example of how Suvi is deceptive and doesn't care about others past what they can gain out of it. Plagarism is wrong and especially scummy from someone who supposedly cares so much about other blankship artists.
They should have given credit before posting or they shouldn't have posted at all. This is not a "Now that I remember" situation. I doubt they would have been able to find the art on Pinterest given the timeframe. Even then, it's disrespectful to artists to not track down the source and provide credit before "heavilly referencing" their work, especially if it's of the same character. It really feels that they thought nobody would notice nor care about them stealing from Japanese artists for their own clout.
